Anthony "Tony" W. Branson, 59, of Montgomery City, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
Tony was born in St. Louis on February 15, 1965, the son of the late Walter "Sonny" G. Branson, Jr. & Betty (Swofford) Tucker.
He was the husband of Donna (Maddux) Branson. They were united in marriage on September 13, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Middletown.
Tony worked as an over the road truck driver for Maczuk Trucking in New Haven, which he loved doing. In his free time he enjoyed cooking, doing woodworking and mostly spending time with his family.
Tony is survived by his wife, Donna Branson of Montgomery City; daughter, Allyson Branson, of Hermann; daughter, Cheyanne Kennedy of Montgomery City; son, Brandyn Churchill, of Mexico; daughter, LaTyshia Churchill, of Montgomery City; son, Nathanyel Kennedy, of Hermann; son, Logyn Horn of Montgomery City; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Greg Donaldson of Washington; three sisters, Debra Trabue of Mexico, Sonja Unger of New Haven and Penny Foster of Middletown; and a brother, Walter Branson III of New Haven.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Susan (Crabtree) Branson; and two daughters, Sarah and Dawn Branson.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on Dec. 17 at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, where memorial services will follow at 6 p.m. Memorials may be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
