The Wellsville-Middletown boys basketball team defeated the New Haven Shamrocks 59-44 on Jan. 24 at Roundtree and Johnson Court. The Tigers stormed to a 28-0 lead and never looked back. They also avenged the 52-37 to New Haven in the seventh-place game of the Montgomery County Invitational Tournament on Dec. 6.
