Wellsville-Middletown baseball at Class 1 district finals

The Wellsville-Middletown baseball team captured its third district title in five years after beating the Community R-6 Trojans 14-6 in the Class 1, District 12 championship game on May 19 at Southern Boone High School. The Tigers also won district crowns in 2017 and 2019. W-M finished 3-0 in the district tournament and outscored its opponents 30-7 in three games.
