Wellsville Middletown baseball vs. Bevier

The Wellsville-Middletown baseball team began its postseason play on a high note, defeating the Bevier Bulldogs 13-1 in five innings in the Class 1, District 12 quarterfinal game on May 14. Sophomore Dylan Alsop struck out 11 batters in four innings of work to pick up the win. The Tigers, the No. 4 seed in the six-team district tournament, snapped a two-game losing streak.
