The Wellsville-Middletown baseball team defeated the Clopton Hawks 3-1 in a home game on April 11 for its first win of the season. Junior Mason Guzy recorded the complete-game victory, giving up three hits and striking out four. Juniors Dylan Alsop and CJ Curd and senior Lucas Peak each scored a run and freshman second baseman Brennan "Tim" Cash had a single and made five putouts on defense. THEO TATE PHOTOS
