The Wellsville-Middletown boys basketball team climbed over the .500 mark for the first time this season after beating Calvary Lutheran 53-39 on Jan. 2 at home. The Tigers improved to 5-4 and won their second straight game. Senior Logan Pursifull, who played his first game after missing the first two months due to a knee injury, finished with 12 points. Sophomore Carson Huff scored a team-high 17 points and senior Dylan Alsop added 12 for W-M, which will play a road game at Marion County on Jan. 9. Theo Tate photos
