The Wellsville-Middletown boys basketball team started its season on Nov. 22 with a 53-35 loss to the Community R-6 Trojans. Seniors Dylan Alsop and Jacob Mandrell each scored 11 points to lead the Tigers, who were coming off an outstanding 2021-22 season in which they finished fourth in Class 1. THEO TATE PHOTOS
