Wellsville-Middletown boys basketball vs. Fulton

The Wellsville-Middletown boys basketball team fell 60-56 to the Fulton Hornets in a first-round game of the Montgomery County Invitational on Dec. 1 at the Montgomery County Middle School gymnasium. The Tigers led 16-10 in one point of the second quarter before Fulton rallied to pull off the win. Clayton Ebers finished with 31 points and Jamel Mahaney had 16 to lead W-M, which dropped to 1-1. Despite the loss, the Tigers advanced to the tournament semfinals against New Haven after Fulton, the No. 1 seed, withdrew from the tournament due to quarantine-related issues. THEO TATE PHOTOS
