The Wellsville-Middletown girls basketball team picked up its first win of the season on Dec. 6, defeating Bowling Green 32-29 in the seventh-place game of the Montgomery County Invitational Tournament. W-M came back from an 11-point deficit in the third quarter to pull off the win. Hallie Guzy scored 11 points, including the go-ahead bucket with 1:23 to go in the fourth, and Elly Cash and Keigan Hall each had 10 points to lead the Tigers, who improved to 1-3.
