The Wellsville-Middletown girls basketball team knocked off Mexico 39-25 in a first-round game of the Montgomery County Invitational Basketball Tournament on Nov. 28 at Montgomery County Middle School. It was the first time since 1989 the Tigers won a first-round game in the MCHS tournament. Sophomore Keigan Hall scored 21 points to lead the Tigers over Mexico, which won the tournament the last two years. W-M will play Hermann in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 30. THEO TATE PHOTOS
