The Wellsville-Middletown girls basketball team saw its season end on Feb. 25 after losing to Pilot Grove 59-31 in the Class 1, District 10 championship game at Pilot Grove. The Tigers finished their season at 11-14, making it the first time they reached double digits in victories since 2010. Freshman Hallie Guzy finished with 12 points to lead W-M, which knocked off top-seeded Higbee in the semifinals to make its first district title appearance since 2001.
