Wellsville-Middletown High School’s Specdra (Speech and Drama) group received a $2,000 donation from the Modern Women Of America Camp 2556 of Martinsburg, which is led by Gwen Deimeke.
The donation was delivered by Gerald and Jean Vomund.
“I join all of the W-M R-1 family in my excitement to receive this donation,” said Donnie Boenker, W-M R-1 Specdra adviser. “This generous donation will assist the Specdra program for many years. When the check was presented, the only stipulation was that the donation go toward the Specdra program in some way. While I don’t know exactly how the money will be used just yet, the money will be used to make an impact on the drama department, whether it is for new equipment, royalties, props, or some other need for the program.”
