The Wellsville-Middletown track had five athletes earning medals at the Class 1 state track meet on May 22 at Adkins Stadium in Jefferson City. Freshman Bethany Slovensky finished third in the 100-meter hurdles and eighth in the triple jump. Junior Isaac Seabaugh placed sixth in the 800 and helped the 3,200-meter relay team -- which also included senior Jacob Hollensteiner and juniors Layne Norris and Keaton Mayes -- finish eighth.
