For the second year in a row, Wellsville-Middletown sophomore Bethany Slovensky earned two all-state medals as she placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and eighth in the 300-meter hurdles at the Class 1 state meet in Jefferson City on May 21. Slovensky finished third in the 100-meter hurdles and eighth in the triple jump last year. Five other W-M athletes -- Isaac Seabaugh, Keaton Mayes, Jacob Mandrell, Layne Norris and Hunter Bickell -- also competed at state, but didn't earn medals. THEO TATE PHOTOS
