Wellsville-Middletown track at Van-Far Invitational

The Wellsville-Middletown track team started its season on March 18 at the Van-Far Invitational. The Tigers had a total of 10 first-place finishes in the six-team meet. Senior Bethany Slovensky, who has earned seven all-state medals,  won four events, the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles, long jump and triple jump. Junior Gage Marshall, who finished eighth in the high jump at state last year, won the event at the Van-Far meet. Theo Tate photos
