A Wellsville woman suffered moderate injuries following an accident at the intersection of Highway 54 and Audrain County Road 834, just south of Mexico, on the morning on Feb. 4.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 39-year-old female – who was driving a 2018 Toyota Camry – struck the rear of a 2006 Kenworth T800, which was driven by a 39-year-old woman from Auxvasse. The Auxvasse driver slowed to make a right-hand turn before she got rear ended.
The Wellsville driver was transported to University Hospital in Columbia. Her car had extensive damage.
