Residents from St. Clair and Owensville were seriously injured from an accident that occurred in the afternoon of Jan. 28 on Highway 19, five miles north of Hermann.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as a 28-year-old male driver from St. Clair was driving a 2015 Toyota Tundra when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The car traveled off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and struck several trees before coming to a rest. The driver was ejected from the car.
The driver was transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington. The passenger, who is a 60-year-old male from Owensville, was transported to University Hospital.
Per the Missouri State Highway Patrol, names of the involved parties in traffic crash and boat.drowning incident reports are not released.
