Cody James Gotcher, 21, of Montgomery City, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at his home.
Cody was born in Tucson, Ariz., on June 14, 2001, the only son of Rick Gotcher and Janie (Korman) Gotcher. Cody enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, being outdoors, taking his dirt bike out for rides, playing video games and spending a lot of time with his dog, Rocky. He helped care for his father.
Cody had a 2-year-old daughter, Nova, whom he adored. She will miss him greatly along with his mother, father and many other family members and friends.
Cody is survived by father, Rick Gotcher of Montgomery City; mother, Janie Gotcher of Wellsville; daughter, Nova Gotcher; two uncles, Jim Gotcher of Hawaii and David Korman and wife Laurie of New Florence; aunt, Wanda Korman Jacquin and husband Dave of Berger; and numerous cousins and other family.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Josephine Gotcher; and Glen and Margaret Korman.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
