Driver suffers moderate injuries in accident outside Middletown

A 24-year-old male driver from Sturgeon suffered moderate injuries following an accident at the intersection of Highway BB and Allison Road, west of Middletown, in the early morning hours of Feb. 9.

According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver went off the roadway and struck a tree. He was driving a 2022 Toyota Corolla, which was totaled. He was transported to St. Joseph West Hospital by ambulance.
