A Montgomery City female was seriously injured during an accident that occurred on the evening of Aug. 11 on westbound Highway N near Mineola.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash happened when the 47-year-old female was riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson Softail Classic and struck a deer. She overturned and was ejected out of the motorcycle. A 56-year-old male, who is also from Montgomery City, was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson Softail Classic and struck the female's motorcycle, causing it to travel off the right side of the roadway.
The female was transported to University Hospital.
