The Montgomery County football cheerleading team is back this season with eight members on the squad, half of them return from the 2025 team.
Juniors Miley Boulware, Kaylee Dillard and Haley Engleman, sophomores Paislee Clark, Sarah Kolling and Hope Osborne and freshmen Olivia Baker and Sarah Vincent make up the cheerleading team, which attended the Wildcats’ season-opening game against Hermann on Aug. 27.
Dillard, Engleman, Clark and Kolling are back from last year’s team that cheered on a MCHS football squad that finished with an outstanding 2025 season, winning nine games, capturing a district championship and making it to the Class 2 state quarterfinals.
Dillard and Engleman have been with the cheer squad since they were freshmen. Clark and Kolling are in their second seasons with the team.
Boulware is in her first season with the cheerleading squad. Baker and Vincent are also cheering at the high school level for the first time.
Mackenzie Woods is back for her second season as head coach. A 2022 MCHS graduate, Woods took over duties for her sister, Madelyn, last year.
