A High Hill man suffered minor injuries following an accident in the evening of May 26 at the westbound Interstate 70 exit ramp in High Hill.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 5:40 p.m., the 82-year-old was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt and traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The car rotated counterclockwise and came to rest partially in the roadway.
The driver was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph West Hospital.
The vehicle had extensive damage. The driver was wearing a safety belt.
