Independence woman suffers moderate injuries outside Mineola

An accident outside Mineola on eastbound I-70 on the morning of Oct. 26 caused moderate injuries to a 68-year-old female from Independence.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver was operating a 2007 Ford Ranger when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. She was transported to University Hospital.
