Janice Fay Davis, 71, of rural Montgomery City, died on Monday, May 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Janice Fay Davis was born July 14, 1950 north of Buell to Earnest Franklin “Frank” Davis and Dora Callaway Davis. She graduated from Montgomery County R-II High School in 1968 and worked at Gen Corp then bought out by Henniges Automotive in New Haven until she retired.
Janice was a person with a great sense of humor and loved to aggravate everyone. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, and watching bull riding (Professional Bull Riders). She enjoyed visiting with all her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed.
Janice is survived by her sister, Joyce Lovelace of New Hartford; brother, Gene Davis of rural Montgomery City; nieces, Kathy Troutmann and husband, Terry, of Bowling Green; and Leslie Lovell and husband, Jeff, of New Hartford; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Adam, David, Jeffrey, Audrey, Avery and Ary. She is also survived by her good friend, Jeanie Meeks; super special friends, Marcia Keithley and Bonnie Powell and “Her Little Snacky Food” Tommy Powell; and numerous cousins and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Franklin “Frank” Davis and Dora Callaway Davis; brother-in-law, Bill Lovelace; and numerous cousins.
Janice requested to be cremated. No services will be held. Her ashes will be scattered out west by her friends.
