Jo Ann Lauer, 95, of Kirkwood, passed away on September 25, 2022. She was the daughter of Homer Roger Davidson and Mary Johnson Davidson of St. Louis.
Jo Ann’s husband, Buford Lauer, is deceased. They were blessed with a happy 60-year marriage. She lovingly leaves behind her only child, Leigh Ann. Son-in-law Timothy and grandson Colin are the other survivors.
Mrs. Lauer was an educator for many years. She graduated from Montgomery City Schools, University of Central Missouri and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Mrs. Lauer began teaching in one-room schoolhouses in Central Missouri and ended her teaching career at the Pattonville School District in St. Louis.
Private burial was at Fairmont Cemetery in Middletown.
