John Preston Hilton, 70, of New Florence, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at his home.
John was born in Flint, Mich., on April 18, 1952, the son of the late James Hilton & Edna (Cook) Pieper. He was the husband of Deborah (Mason) Hilton. They were united in marriage on April 24, 2008, at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Montgomery City. Deborah survives in New Florence.
John is also survived by a daughter, Hope Haddix and husband Frank, of New Florence; a son, Eric Hilton, of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; a daughter, Charity Hilton, of Homestead; a sister, Darla Patterson, of New Florence; and eight grandchildren.
John worked as a team leader for GM in Wentzville. He was a member of the UAW Auto Works Local 2350.
No services will be held at this time. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, in care of Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
