Jonesburg Elementary School has an award this school year – All-Star Students of the Week. Two students will be selected for the award each week.

Parker Calbreath was a Jonesburg All Star Student the week of October 14-17. Parker was nominated for being Responsible, one of the 5 Be’s. Parker is 11 years old and in fifth grade. Parker’s favorite thing about school is science.

Maxi Gomez Martinez was a Jonesburg All Star Student the week of October 14-17. Maxi was nominated for being Respectful, one of the 5 Be’s. Maxi is 9 years old and in fourth grade. Maxi’s favorite thing about school is science. At home, Maxi likes to play. Maxi wants to be a cop when he grows up. If he could go anywhere, Maxi would go to California. Maxi is the son of Blanca Martinez and Roberto Gomez. Maxi received a free treat from the New Florence McDonald’s for being an All Star of the Week
