Two Kansas City residents suffered minor injuries following an accident at the 184.2 mile marker of eastbound I-70 at Jonesburg in the morning on Oct. 18.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 24-year-old female was driving a 2024 Toyota Corolla and the vehicle entered into a skid on the wet roadway and ran off the right side of the roadway, striking an embankment. The driver, along with the 36-year-old male passenger, were transported to St. Joseph West by ambulance.
The vehicle had moderate damage.
