Cobb, Eldringhoff, Ellis, Eversmeyer, Groeber, Poston, Rose, Stille, Veach and Zerr have been members of the MCHS FFA chapter since they were freshmen. All eight of them were chapter degree recipients when they were sophomores.

Stille is the chapter’s president. She was a historian when she was a sophomore and a secretary when she was a junior. In her freshman year, she was part of an agronomy group that finished seventh in state. Her older sister, Heather, was part of that team. The following year, Stille helped the floriculture team come in seventh at state.

This year, Ellis qualified for state in area proficiency in diversified horticulture.

Rose earned the Most Improved Award in trapshooting during the FFA winter banquet in November. He was on the trapshooting team all four years.

Groeber was named recipient of the Missouri’s Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship in January and was an area proficiency winner i outdoor recreation. When she was a sophomore, she helped the food science team finish fourth at state.

Eldringhoff qualified for state in area proficiency in ag services. When she was a sophomore, she was the top fruit seller.

Cobb was named Barnwarming king in September and clinched a state berth in area proficiency in diversified crops. He was the chapter’s sentinel when he was a junior.

Last year, Eversmeyer was a historian and won first place in paper scrapbook officer book in the state career and leadership development event.

Zerr was an area proficiency winner in goat production and has qualified for state. Last year, she was a part of a dairy foods group that finished second in districts and advanced to state.
