Helanea McKenzie and Urich Lobb were crowned the Wellsville-Middletown Homecoming queen and king on Friday during a coronation ceremony on Friday at the W-M gymnasium.
McKenzie, a senior, and Lobb, a junior, were part of a court that included senior Gavyn Moritz, junior Aubrey Harmon, sophomores Paige Brashear and Olyn Davis and freshmen Ava Geisler and Uriah Thompson. Skyler Holmes and Evelyn Eoff were the crownbearers.
Both McKenzie and Lobb are from Wellsville and play basketball at W-M. McKenzie, who was crowned the Old Settlers Queen in August, plans to attend Evangel University next year.
W-M’s Homecoming theme this year was Destination Homecoming. A homecoming dance will be held from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday at the W-M Elementary gymnasium.
