Why are you running and why should people vote for you?
I believe government should serve the people -- all the people. I will be a voice for the working man in Jefferson City. I have nearly 30 years of experience as a state employee, and I pledge to restore our promise to take care of our basic needs. Let the welfare of the people be supreme law.
What are your goals if elected?
Public education is our most important job -- we must provide a quality education to all of the children of the state. Next, we have to do better with healthcare. That's how we rebuild rural communities.
What issues are most pressing for your constituency?
I believe the 10th District wants a government that keeps its promises. We've been too worried about tax cuts instead of taking care of the people. I plan to keep our promises.
