A 21-year-old male driver from Montgomery City suffered moderate injuries during an accident on the morning of Oct. 2 at the intersection of County Road 845 and County Road 852, southeast of Mexico.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the male was driving a 2010 Ford F-150 when he began to slide and struck a school bus. The Ford came to rest in the roadway and the bus began to slide and overturned. The bus came to rest in the roadway on its side.
The Montgomery City driver was transported to University Hospital. Five juveniles between the ages of 9 and 17 were occupants of the bus and were also transported to University Hospital.
