Montgomery City Public Library had its Summer Reading Program from June 1-July 31. The program began with a visit from Dogs on Duty and ended with a visit from Corporal Clete Mathis and K9 Lalka of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department. It also had a special appearance from veterinarian Dr. Susan Boedges and numerous reading activities that were related to pets. The theme of this year's program was, "Tails and Tales."
