On December 5, deputies responded to a residence in Wellsville for a report of an unwanted subject. During the investigation, deputies learned that the individual had arrived at the home intoxicated and was attempting to pick up his child. Deputies administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests, which the subject failed. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the MC Jail where he provided a breath sample showing a blood alcohol content of .151%. He was charged with driving while intoxicated.

On December 5, deputies responded to a residence in Wellsville for a report of an unwanted subject. During the investigation, deputies learned that the individual had arrived at the home intoxicated and was attempting to pick up his child. Deputies administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests, which the subject failed. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the MC Jail where he provided a breath sample showing a blood alcohol content of .151%. He was charged with driving while intoxicated.
On December 6, deputies conducted a traffic stop in New Florence for an equipment violation. During the stop deputies noted that the passenger was acting suspiciously. When asked for his name he became argumentative and initially refused to identify himself. After eventually providing his name deputies learned he had an active warrant out of Franklin County for traffic offenses as well as a warrant out of Montgomery County for possession of a controlled substance. The passenger was arrested and transported to the MC Jail.
Also on December 6, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway E after observing a vehicle failing to maintain its lane. During the stop deputies determined that the driver’s driving privileges were revoked and that she appeared to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and transported to the MC Jail. While at the MC Jail Standard Field Sobriety Tests were administered, during which she performed poorly. She refused to provide a breath sample. A search warrant was obtained for her blood and she was charged with driving while revoked and driving while intoxicated.
On December 7, deputies responded to Danville for a report of a domestic assault involving a knife. During the investigation deputies learned that the suspect had woken up and begun yelling at a six-year-old child before shoving him. The suspect then grabbed a kitchen knife at which point the child’s mother locked herself and the child in a bedroom. The suspect attempted to break into the room, stabbing a hole through the door. Although he left before deputies arrived, the suspect was located a short time later at another residence hiding in a room. He was arrested, transported to the MC Jail and charged with domestic assault, endangering the welfare of a child, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.
On December 10, deputies conducted a traffic stop near High Hill for an equipment violation. Upon making contact with the driver and after further investigation and a search of the vehicle led to the discovery of two plastic bags containing a total of 78.61 grams of stamped pills that tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl, a glass jar containing 8.01 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and a loaded firearm located with the illegal drugs. Both occupants were arrested, transported to the MC Jail and charged with trafficking drugs, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a firearm, armed criminal action, and failing to affix license plate.
On December 11, deputies stopped a vehicle in High Hill for failing to maintain its lane. Through the course of the traffic stop deputies discovered the driver and passenger both had active warrants for their arrest out of Foristell and Callaway County. They were both arrested and transported to the MC Jail.
