A New Florence driver suffered minor injuries following an accident in the afternoon of May 27 on northbound Highway 19, about 10 miles north of Hermann.
According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 2:15 p.m., the 24-year-old male was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, which traveled off the left side of the road and went down an embankment, striking several trees.
The driver was taken to Hermann Hospital. A 17-year-old passenger from Hermann suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital. Both of them were not wearing seat belts. The damage was extensive.
