An accident on westbound I-70 outside Mineola in the evening of Jan. 16 caused serious injuries for a Kansas City male pedestrian.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 29-year-old entered the roadway into traffic and was struck by two vehicles. One was a 2026 International HX620 that was driven by a 65-year-old Jefferson City male. The other was a 2025 Kia Sorento that was driven by a 69-year-old St. Peters female. The pedestrian was transported to University Hospital.
