Karl and Becky Queathem were recipients of the Montgomery County R-II P.A.W.S. award. P.A.W.S. stands for Perpetually a Wildcat Supporter.
The Queathems were presented their award on Feb. 13 at Ballew & Snell Court. R-II assistant superintendent Dr. Jocelyn Schluss said, “Karl and Becky Queathem support our students and staff in multiple ways. For many years they have been involved in the Booster Club and have spent many hours shopping for, and stocking, the concession stands. They are often working behind the scenes, stepping in to help with whatever is needed, to ensure our athletic contests continue to operate smoothly. Karl and Becky are the true definition of Wildcat spirit. They bleed blue and white, showing up with the heart of a Wildcat in everything they do. Whether they’re loading soda machines, dragging the field, lending a helping hand or volunteering on another committee or board, their energy is unmatched. If there’s a Wildcat event happening, you can count on Karl and Becky to be there – supporting, serving and shining. Their dedication makes our school community stronger, and we are grateful they are part of the Wildcat family.”
