Sheridan Temperly of Jonesburg Elementary School and Rachelle Wiltsch of Montgomery County High School were named recipients of the R-II Wildcats of the Month for the month of October.

This year’s district theme, “Be the Difference,” is a reminder that every action, every smile and every moment of care has the power to change lives. The staff live this message every day—by inspiring curiosity in the students, supporting one another and creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

The district’s mission is to create lifelong learners and productive citizens. The Wildcat

Award winners support our mission by building meaningful connections, creating a

supportive learning environment, and through their commitment to professional growth.

Their dedication fosters a love for learning and makes our schools welcoming spaces.

The district is fortunate that Sheridan and Rachelle are parts of the Wildcat family.

Sheridan and Rachelle have truly been the differences to the district through their dedication, compassion and unwavering commitment to the students and community.

Sheridan, an interventionist at JBE, took on a new role this year as interventionist to our struggling students. She has excelled in this position. She has also been a great help to the teachers. She has stepped up without complaint and helped many staff members. She is always willing to step in and help out whenever and wherever it is needed. Sheridan has gone above and beyond what was expected of her in her new role this year. All her hard work and dedication to our teachers and students is appreciated by all.

Since stepping into the role of interventionist this year, Sheridan has made an incredible impact on both students and staff. Sheridan’s passion for helping kids learn shines through every single

day. She is consistently organized, punctual, and dependable, ensuring that each student receives the support he or she needs to grow and succeed. Whether it’s providing extra help to a struggling learner, offering a hand to a colleague or jumping in wherever needed, Sheridan does it all with kindness, professionalism and a genuine heart for children. Mrs. Temperly's dedication and positive spirit truly embody what it means to be a Wildcat!

Sheridan is deserving of this award because she always shows up for all those around her. Sheridan is in a new position this year at school and you would never know it was her first year. She goes above and beyond for the kids that she works with and checks on staff daily to make sure that they’re OK. Sheridan is one of the kindest, sweetest people at Jonesburg and the school is so lucky to have her.

Rachelle, a lunch clerk at MCHS, always has a smile on her face and is friendly to everyone - students, staff and families. Rachelle is effective at her role and always finds ways to help in the office on the rare occasion that her day slows down.
