Ralph G. Leonard, Jr., 91, of Bellflower, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at St. Andrew’s at New Florence Nursing and Care Center.
Funeral services are scheduled for noon on Saturday, August 19 at Schlanker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bellflower Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Ralph was born April 19, 1932, in Montgomery County, to Ralph Leonard, Sr., and Virginia (Pritchett) Leonard. Ralph spent much of his time farming and providing for his family. He was a talented carpenter and had a passion for the outdoors, especially trout fishing. He was an honorary director for the Montgomery County Old Threshers.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gail Leonard; sons; Gene (Debbie) Leonard, Mike (Sherry) Leonard, Wayne (Susan) Leonard and Kevin Leonard; grandchildren, Jon (Nina) Leonard, Jeff (Stephanie) Leonard, Lauren (Trent) Kessmann, Ashley (Zac) Milligan, Cody Leonard, Peyton Leonard, Holly (Anthony) Malone, Mackenzie Leonard, Frankie (Kristy) D’Imperio, Dominic (Maggie) D’Imperio and Luke (Emily) D’Imperio; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Tom) Oliver; nephews, Danny (Robin) Oliver, David (Sheila) Oliver and Dennis (Jennifer) Oliver; and many other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Ralph will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
