A 51-year-old Rhineland resident ran into a deer on Highway 19 in Gasconade County, putting him in serious condition.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the man was riding a 2005 Big Dog Chopper when he struck a deer and traveled off the right side of the roadway past midnight on July 6. He was transported to Mercy Washington Hospital.
