A 16-year-old male from Rhineland suffered minor injuries in an accident in the early morning of Feb. 7, eight miles south of Owensville. He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver, who was from Cuba (Crawford County), fell asleep. His vehicle, a 2003 Ford Explorer, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned in a ditch on northbound Highway 19, one-half mile south of Enke Road. The Rhineland resident was a passenger in that vehicle.
The driver didn’t suffer any injuries.
Per the Missouri State Highway Patrol, names of the involved parties in traffic crash and boat drowning incident reports are not released.
