A 40-year-old male driver from Rhineland suffered minor injuries on the evening of Sept. 26 on Highway K near Route HH, located north of Americus.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to University Hospital. He was driving a 2007 Acura TSX.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:20 p.m. The vehicle swerved for a deer, ran off the right side of the roadway into the woodline and struck a tree.
