Ronald Gene Kamper, 85, of Hermann, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at StoneBridge in Hermann.
Ronald was born in St. Louis on August 19, 1937, the son of the late Fred & Hazel (Ohnewald) Kamper. Ronald was a member of Big Spring United Methodist Church in Big Spring. He worked for 39 years as a telephone technician. He was the husband of Joyce (Hauser) Kamper. They were united in marriage on August 22, 1959 at Big Spring United Methodist Church.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Joyce Kamper of Hermann; a daughter, Neva Christian & husband David of Columbia; a son, Ronald Kamper, Jr., of Bunceton (Cooper County); a brother, Ken Kamper and wife Bernice of Bay (Gasconade County); four grandchildren, Beth Chapman and husband Rob, Leah Christian, Tanner Christian and wife McCall and Mackenzie McLeese and husband Will; and great-grandchild, Blair Christian. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Fred Kamper and his wife Nancy.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. on Aug. 18 at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Big Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Big Spring Cemetery or Montgomery County Historical Society.
