A 36-year-old St. Charles female suffered moderate injuries following an accident on the afternoon of June 22 on the 166.8-mile marker of eastbound I-70, outside Mineola.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the female was driving a 2023 Audi Q5 when she was slowed for traffic and was struck in the rear by a 17-year-old Marthasville male, who was driving a 2018 Chevrolet 3500. After impact, the female ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned several times.
The female was transported to St. Joseph West in Wentzville by ambulance. It was unknown if she was wearing a safety belt.
