The Wellsville Chamber of Commerce held a meeting on March 4 at the Wellsville Fire Protection District building to discuss plans for the 2026 year.
The chamber will hold a Lighted Christmas Parade on Dec. 19 and the AM 250 Celebration in July. The Wellsville Board of Aldermen approved both events. The AM 250 Celebration is honoring America’s 250th birthday and selected its theme as “Small Town Big Freedom.”
The All-Yard Town Sale is set for April 18. A roadblock is planned from 7 a.m.-11 a.m. that day to promote the yard sale.
The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 4. The Kissing Cow donated four baskets for the giveaway.
An officer team for the 2026 term was selected at the meeting. President Shalon Curd, vice president Emma Edwards, secretary Amy Trent and treasurer Caren Whitehead make up the officer team. All officers will serve a 1-year term.
