The Wellsville-Middletown basketball cheerleading team will perform at the Class 1 and 2 Show-Me Showdown at Mizzou Arena in Columbia on Friday.
The squad will perform a halftime routine in three games – the Class 2 girls semifinal games at 10 a.m. and noon, respectively, and the Class 1 boys semifinal at 2 p.m.
The team consists of seniors Alyssa Beach and Della Gosseen, junior Brooke Stroup, sophomores Matti Hager, Legend Davis and Jenna Collins and freshmen Tessa Freeman, Marli Yelton, Jade Thompson and Addison Nation and is coached by Michelle Stroup.
