The W-M girls are seeded seventh in the seven-team girls tournament, which runs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They will play No. 2 seed Higbee in a quarterfinal game at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The winner of that contest plays either third-seeded Community R-6 or sixth-seeded Madison in the semifinals at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
The W-M boys are seeded eighth in the eight-team boys tournament, which runs on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. They will play top-seeded Christian Fellowship in a quarterfinal game at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Cairo is the top seed in the girls tournament. It will play either fourth–seeded Bucklin/Macon County or fifth-seeded Bevier in the semifinals on Wednesday.
Seeded second through seventh in the boys tournament are Higbee, Cairo, Columbia Independent, Bevier, Community and Madison.
Both W-M teams will wrap up their regular season with road games against Silex on Tuesday and Wright City on Thursday. The girls are 7-15 and the boys are 2-22.
Last year, the W-M boys beat Bevier in the quarterfinals and were eliminated by Cairo in the semifinals in the district tournament. The W-M girls fell to Community in the district quarterfinals.
