The Montgomery Standard is launching a new feature, Hidden Heroes, to recognize local residents who volunteer their time to help others and make a difference in their communities.
Beginning with the Oct. 28 edition, the feature will appear every other month and highlight an individual whose efforts often happen behind the scenes but have a meaningful impact on others.
The newspaper encourages readers to nominate someone they know who goes above and beyond to serve their community. Each recipient will be presented a superhero cape.
Readers can nominate a Hidden Hero online at mystandardnews.com/hiddenhero. The feature is presented by the Montgomery Standard and its supporting sponsors: Patriot Liquor, Nature’s Plow, Windsor Valley Roofing and Uncle Ray’s.
The newspaper invites readers to help shine a spotlight on the volunteers who make Montgomery County a better place to live and work.
