Three Montgomery County area players were selected to the Northeast Media all-district basketball team.
They were senior Isaac Seabaugh and junior Logan Pursifull of Wellsville-Middletown in Class 1 boys and sophomore Malia Rodgers of Montgomery County in Class 3 girls. All three players earned all-district honors for the first time.
Seabaugh earned first team honors after leading the Tigers in scoring (13.5 points per game), rebounding (6.7 rebounds per game) and three-pointers (27). He also was named on the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Class 1 all-state team.

Seabaugh and Pursifull helped the Tigers finish 20-8 and place fourth in the Class 1 state tournament.
Rodgers received first-team notice after averaging 15 points and five assists per game. She also helped the MCHS girls basketball team finish 20-8 and capture Eastern Missouri Conference and District 7 championships.
W-M boys basketball coach Steve Lasman earned Class 1 coach of the year honors, making it the second year in a row he received the award. Last year, he was voted coach of the year in Class 2.
