Seniors Harrison Bishop and Travis Hill and juniors Jace Ellis and Mason Leu were the Wildcats’ representatives on the all-EMO squad, while seniors Dylan Alsop, Mason Guzy and CJ Curd represented the Tigers.
Ellis, Alsop, Guzy and Bishop were named first-team utility players, while Leu, Hill and Curd earned second-team honors.
Ellis and Hill were named to the all-EMO baseball team for the third year in a row. Ellis earned first-team utility honors in his freshman and sophomore seasons. Hill received second-team notice in his sophomore and junior seasons.

Ellis, Hill, Bishop and Leu helped MCHS win its ninth conference title and its first since 2019. The Wildcats shared the league championship with Elsberry at 9-1. Wright City handed MCHS its only loss in conference play.
Alsop earned his third straight all-EMO honor. He was named first-team utility player in each of the last two years.
Guzy and Curd were named to the all-league team for the first time.
W-M finished 4-6 in conference play after winning its first three games. The Tigers had wins over Louisiana, Van-Far, Clopton and Mark Twain.
Both MCHS and W-M were eliminated in district semifinal play on May 15. The Wildcats finished their season at 14-6 after losing to Hermann 7-0 in a Class 3, District 7 game at South Callaway. The Tigers wrapped up their season at 9-9 after falling 8-0 to Cairo in a Class 1, District 12 game that was played at Battle High School in Columbia.
